Post-Secondary/Collegiate

Your South Dakota HOSA journey doesn't have to end because you graduated high school. In fact, many who enter their first year of college are still unsure of what area they aim to pursue.

Once you get on a college campus, you will find the need to engage with peers having similar career goals. Most college campuses have a nursing club, pre-medicine club, etc. All of them are great! However, maybe you haven't been drawn to career specific clubs. As a HOSA member, you will join others who still have questions regarding a career path.

There will be opportunities for you and your HOSA peers to get engaged in the community, earn scholarships as you continue your education, and compete in a handful of collegiate appropriate competitions involving research, internship experiences, and leadership events.
