What advice would you give HS students in HOSA today?
Give everything a try! If something sounds interesting to you, do not be afraid to learn more about it & give it a shot. You can always compete in a different event the next year!



How did HOSA help you get to where you are today?
HOSA gave me firsthand experience in public health, which helped me be a competitive applicant for internships and grad school. It also gave me experiences in leadership, which were foundational to my skills today!



What are you doing now?
I recently graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health with my MPH in Infectious Disease Epidemiology. I am beginning the process of applying for jobs within the public health field and am excited to use my education & experiences in the real-world!
