What advice would you give HS students in HOSA today?
My advice to HOSA students is to be open to trying new things and step out of your comfort zone. Compete in HOSA events that will challenge you! Challenging yourself is the best way to learn.
How did HOSA help you get to where you are today?
Through HOSA I was immersed in many new opportunities from networking with those in healthcare to becoming a better presenter. Having experience presenting in HOSA gave me more confidence when presenting my undergraduate research at various research symposiums.
Future plans?
I will graduate from Augustana in May and plan to attend dental or pharmacy school.
